About the role
- Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success
- Manage and develop 1-2 analysts; coach and mentor associates
- Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for lending products and lead product-level modeling/analytics
- Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for retail-distributed products
- Build targeted insights to inform customer experiences and new go-to-market strategies
- Drive improvements in credit performance via modeling, hypothesis testing, and monitoring
- Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute product strategy
- Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently and partner across IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and others
- Make analytic-driven decisions, present strategic recommendations, and drive execution in uncertain environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
- At least 2 years of experience in analysis
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in analysis (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in financial services (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience in consulting (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in people management (preferred)
- Strategic & analytic orientation with strong quantitative skills
- Product, pricing, marketing, and credit risk analytics experience
- Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity
- Solid people leadership experience; ability to coach and mentor analysts
- Strong executive written and oral communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing multiple projects/programs and partnering cross-functionally
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
