Senior Security Engineer, Detection and Response

Data Scientist

• Own data pipelines: Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality data across the organization.
• Create dashboards: Design and implement dashboards, while automating regular reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and increase data consistency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with engineering and business teams to understand use cases and proactively develop data assets that support their goals effectively and scalably.
• Improve data quality, discoverability, and metric clarity: Design and implement robust systems for schema design, data validation, documentation, and governance, while defining and standardizing core business metrics and semantic definitions to ensure consistency across teams and tools.
• Support self-serve insights: Enable teams with intuitive, trustworthy data products and tooling that allow less-technical users to explore data and develop solutions independently.
• Priority projects:
• Implement foundational tooling for our data stack (data warehouse, orchestration and transformation tools, dashboards, etc)

Operations

• Enterprise Operations Ownership: Assume end-to-end accountability for operational business outcomes within the Enterprise stream, ensuring departmental goals align with overarching corporate strategy.
• Tier 2 Technical Escalation: Serve as the definitive technical authority for post-sales issues, resolving high-complexity tickets through knowledge, troubleshooting and escalation to internal and external engineering teams.
• Fulfillment & Delivery Excellence: Lead the operational deployment of hardware and Cape services across the entire enterprise product portfolio, ensuring seamless delivery and client onboarding.

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

• Orchestrate Porting Workflows: Own the critical path of porting customers from other carriers, resolving technical blocks and ensuring zero downtime for the user.
• Spearhead Voice Operations: Lead direct customer voice interactions to resolve high-stakes issues, eventually hiring and managing the team that handles this function.
• Drive Mobile Quality Assurance: Act as a critical internal tester for our mobile applications, identifying bugs and providing feedback to ensure the app experience is as seamless as our porting process.
• Build Scalable Solutions: Identify manual bottlenecks in the current process and collaborate with engineering to build automated, more efficient tools.

Operations Analyst

• Own sourcing strategy for core technical roles (Software Engineering, Security, etc.)
• Deliver high-signal candidate pipelines and partner with recruiters to drive hires
• Calibrate quickly — understand what great looks like and launch outreach within a week of kickoff
• Use platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Ashby, and Gem to find and engage candidates
• Write personalized outreach that reflects Cape’s tone and gets real responses
• Track response rates, funnel metrics, and conversion data — and iterate fast
• Proactively build diverse pipelines and help define our long-term talent mapping strategy
• Keep data clean and help build a sourcing engine that scale

Technical Sourcer – Contract

Controller

• Maintain audit ready books: Ensure accuracy of financials, at first in partnership with our 3rd party accounting firm and later in house
• AR / AP: Own the weekly bill pay / collection processes
• Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform flux analyses over financial results to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements
• Partner with Head of Finance to implement systems / automations to speed up month end close process
• Keep procurement documentation up to date across our supply chain
• Compliance: Assist in ensuring we remain in good standing with all 50 states, PUCs, and the FCC
• Tax: Oversee Avalara in calculating and remitting state sales taxes monthly
• Bring accounting in house: Help transition the above from our outsourced accounting function to in house staff (not yet hired)
