About the role
- Support the Property Manager in cultivating a motivated, high-performing team and lead by example
- Promote a friendly, service-oriented office environment prioritizing resident satisfaction
- Drive leasing efforts to achieve and maintain target occupancy (goal: 99%) and implement leasing/renewal programs
- Conduct outreach marketing on campus and local businesses and support annual marketing plan
- Maintain knowledge of property and local competitors through market research and ensure marketing materials align with brand standards
- Coordinate and promote resident events and community-building functions and represent the property at university functions
- Deliver first-class service to residents, prospects, and parents; resolve resident concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate records in property management software; process leases and administrative paperwork
- Support property upkeep and curb appeal by identifying areas for improvement
- Assist in achieving NOI targets, support rent collection (goal: 98% collection rate), and identify ways to improve revenue and reduce expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 2–5 years of experience in student or multifamily housing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with property management software, preferably Entrata
- Familiarity with both market-rate and LIHTC programs is a plus
- Understanding and adherence to Fair Housing and EEO laws
- Experience in hiring, staff development, budgeting, marketing strategy, and scheduling
- Ability to deliver first-class customer service and resolve resident concerns
- Strong leadership and people-management skills

- Willingness to undergo criminal background and drug screening
