Role Overview: The Application Engineering Manager for MRP Solutions leads a team of Application Engineers and Project Engineers responsible for delivering high-quality implementation, support, and training services for Sigma NEST software solutions.
This role ensures customer satisfaction through strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence.
This position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio with flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support a team of Application Engineers, and Project Engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Project Oversight: Supervise the analysis, implementation, and support of MRP/ERP software projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards.
Customer Engagement: Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and proactively addressing escalations.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes related to software deployment, training, and support.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support teams to align technical services with business goals.
Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs, monitor team performance, and implement strategies for continuous improvement based also with the Sandvik’s core values Delivering outcomes for our customers – not just a project or a service – we only succeed when the customer is producing parts
Requirements
Proven experience in managing technical teams, preferably in software implementation or IT consulting.
Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and business process flows (sales, purchasing, production, administration).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Crystal Reports).
Strong project management skills including planning, sche duling, and communication to key stakeholders both within SigmaNEST as well as the customer .
Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM products.
Experience with internal training and pre-sales support.
Travel to client sites, estimated at up to 25%, with variability based on project needs.
