Application Engineer

• Role Overview: The Application Engineering Manager for MRP Solutions leads a team of Application Engineers and Project Engineers responsible for delivering high-quality implementation, support, and training services for Sigma NEST software solutions.
• This role ensures customer satisfaction through strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence.
• This position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio with flexibility for remote work.

• Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support a team of Application Engineers, and Project Engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Project Oversight: Supervise the analysis, implementation, and support of MRP/ERP software projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards.
• Customer Engagement: Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and proactively addressing escalations.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes related to software deployment, training, and support.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support teams to align technical services with business goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs, monitor team performance, and implement strategies for continuous improvement based also with the Sandvik’s core values Delivering outcomes for our customers – not just a project or a service – we only succeed when the customer is producing parts
