About the role

  • Fully remote, commission-only sales specialist role selling telecom and technology solutions
  • Bring-your-own-tools (BYOT): use your own computer, phone, and outreach software
  • Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and outreach; develop tailored scripts and pitches
  • Manage pipeline from initial contact through negotiation and close (aim to close within 30–60 days when possible)
  • Present solutions from a broad portfolio of providers (internet connectivity, voice/UC, cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, etc.)
  • Independently drive the sales cycle with minimal supervision and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
  • Regularly report pipeline status, closed deals, and forecasts; request support for large or complex deals
  • Continually learn product offerings and industry trends; leverage training resources and available team support

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecom, IT, or technology services
  • Experience working with a master agent or selling network, cloud, or software solutions is a strong plus
  • Proven track record in commission-only or high-commission environments (100% commission experience highly desirable)
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Excellent cold calling, email outreach, networking, and prospecting skills
  • Strong persuasive communication, presentation, negotiation, consultative selling, and closing abilities
  • Highly organized; experience using a CRM or tools to manage pipeline and follow-ups
  • Familiarity with telecom services, cloud, cybersecurity, voice/Unified Communications, IoT, and related technology solutions is beneficial
  • Reliable home office setup (computer, phone, high-speed internet) and comfort with BYOT outreach tools
  • Comfortable handling rejection and consistently making daily outreach attempts
