About the role
- Responsible for originating, underwriting, documentation, and monitoring of small, moderately complex credit facilities/credit relationships
- Proactively monitors existing credit portfolios, including loan reviews
- Works with clients and relationship leads to understand and assess credit needs
- Generates new business opportunities for the bank such as new loans
- Directly manages client inquiries and facilitates resolution of problems within scope of knowledge
- Solves problems that are small to moderate in nature and directly impact credit quality and/or client experience
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members and contributes to Credit Services team objectives
- Role modified based upon local regulations/requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in credit, banking or financial and risk analysis preferred
- Experience originating, underwriting, documenting, and monitoring small to moderately complex credit facilities/credit relationships
- Experience performing loan reviews and monitoring existing credit portfolios
- Ability to work with clients and relationship leads to understand and assess credit needs
- Problem solving for small to moderate issues that impact credit quality and/or client experience
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members as needed
