About the role
- End-to-end ownership of your categories (apparel, helmets, protective gear, bags)
- Develop, implement and monitor the assortment strategy using KPIs (e.g., sales, margin)
- Responsible for pre-order planning and managing product availability
- Identify and onboard new brands and further develop the brand portfolio
- Lead strategic negotiations with suppliers
- Conduct market and competitor analyses
Requirements
- Several years of experience in category management or procurement, ideally in the sports, outdoor or textile/apparel sector
- Strong knowledge of collection planning, pre-order processes and KPI management
- Experience purchasing for sports, fashion or cycling assortments
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient with ERP systems and very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
- Very good written and spoken German and English
