• Serve as the trusted people partner to GTM leadership, maintaining deep business context and translating it into people priorities by proactively surfacing systemic issues, risks, and opportunities before they become urgent.

• Drive the Enterprise Readiness customer experience end to end: Partner with GTM and Enterprise Engineering to make "enterprise-ready" a platform-wide capability, not a deal-by-deal scramble. Outcome: readiness becomes a supported, priced product instead of bespoke work assembled per deal.
• Product Vision and Roadmap: See around the curve on what regulated customers will require — deployment models, compliance posture, identity and access, billing and spend controls — and build ahead of the need. Outcome: one prioritized roadmap and operational rigor that help us get ahead of customer requirements instead of reacting to them.
• Be the Enterprise customer voice: Turn deal-blocking requirements from sales and FDE into product. Outcome: the steady stream of one-off exceptions becomes a smaller set of sellable, supported capabilities.

• Own Baseten’s GPU fabric observability and root-cause analysis architecture.

• First-run experience — onboarding, model discovery and deploy via the Model Library, and a first deploy where errors surface and builds show progress.
• Deployment lifecycle and safe releases — environment promotion (dev → staging → prod), version history and an artifact/model registry, reproducible deployments, and the progressive-delivery controls developers set and read: canary, shadow, A/B, scheduled promotion, and one-gesture rollback.

• Own complex migrations end to end. Lead large-scale infrastructure migrations across teams and domains. This will involve scoping the work, sequencing dependencies, managing risk, and driving them to completion without surprises.
• Drive process across infrastructure. Establish and run the operating rhythms that keep programs healthy: planning cadences, status reporting, decision logs, risk reviews, and escalation paths. Make the process light enough that teams adopt it and rigorous enough that it actually works.
• Help managers build the right structures. Partner with engineering managers and leads to design the team structures, ownership boundaries, and working models a program needs to succeed. Spot gaps in accountability before they become problems.
• Own follow-ups relentlessly. Be the person who tracks every open item, owns the action register, and closes loops. Drive decisions and unblockers to resolution rather than letting them drift.
• Create clarity from ambiguity. Take loosely defined goals and turn them into scoped, sequenced, resourced plans with clear owners and measurable milestones.
• Manage risk and dependencies. Maintain a clear-eyed view of cross-team dependencies and risks; surface them early, drive mitigation, and keep leadership informed with honest, signal-rich updates.
• Communicate up, down, and across. Translate between deeply technical teams and senior leadership. Run effective program reviews and write the kind of crisp status that lets busy people make fast decisions.

• Drive the expansion of BDN's architecture, currently focused on model weights, to container images, training checkpoints, and deployment artifacts.
• Provide technical oversight on GPU-aware isolation mechanisms for multi-tenant inference, including secure container runtimes, Linux namespace hardening, and longer-term micro-VM integration.
• Ensure the team maintains end-to-end ownership of the container startup performance path, from snapshotter initialization through weight delivery to first inference request.
• Champion the team's contributions back to the open-source containerd ecosystem alongside a team of core maintainers.
• Act as the primary advocate for Runtime Fabrics across the organization, ensuring upstream and downstream teams have the integration support they need.
