About the role

  • Be the VP’s right hand, acting as the strategic starting point for product-related content
  • Translating the product roadmap into compelling, market-ready messaging and positioning
  • Building sales enablement tools (battlecards, one-pagers, pitch decks) that win deals
  • Developing competitive intelligence and playbooks to sharpen our edge
  • Capturing customer stories, wins, and data that influence buying decisions
  • Partnering with the wider marketing team to drive integrated, campaign-ready content
  • Managing relationships with industry analysts and media outlets to boost Balto’s category leadership
  • Tracking and influencing metrics like win rate, adoption, churn, and pipeline impact
  • This is a remote role, open to candidates anywhere in the US, with occasional travel for in-person company all-hands events up to 4 times a year.

Requirements

  • Equal parts strategist and doer.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS (bonus if it’s in the $15–45M ARR range)
  • Launched products, built competitive playbooks, and enabled sales
  • Collaborate across product, sales, and marketing
  • Curious, creative, and data-driven—you know what resonates and why
  • Translate complex product features into must-have customer value
  • Excited about AI and want to use it to level up your work every day
