About the role
- Help build our entire go-to-market engine, working directly with our CEO, VP of Sales, and first GTM hire
- Own the complete sales cycle from demo to implementation to account management
- Pioneer sales methodologies that set industry standards for AI-powered fintech enterprise deals
- Develop deep relationships with C-suite banking executives
- Become a product and industry expert - this is consultative selling
- Create scalable sales processes and playbooks that future AEs will leverage as we scale
- Bridge the gap between revolutionary AI capabilities and enterprise purchasing decisions, building relationships that generate millions in ARR while establishing industry credibility
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of quota attainment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Experience with enterprise sales cycles (3-12 months) and complex stakeholder management
- Proven ability to sell to C-suite executives and navigate large organization buying processes
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate complex technical value propositions
- Self-starter mentality with ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Preferred: Direct sales experience to banks, credit unions, or other financial institutions
- Preferred: Background selling AI/ML, fintech, or other complex technical solutions
- Preferred: Track record of closing deals >$500K ARR in enterprise software
- Preferred: Experience with compliance-heavy industries and lengthy procurement processes
- Preferred: Understanding of lending, underwriting, or loan origination workflows
- Preferred: Strong existing network within the financial services ecosystem
- Preferred: Previous experience transitioning from generalist to specialist sales roles
