About the role

  • As a Principal Product Manager, you will drive the strategy and execution for a designated product area of our data and analytics capabilities, which are central to how our customers use the product.
  • As a revenue intelligence application, analytics are a critical piece of customer value realization.
  • You will be driving extremely visible features with direct customer impact.
  • This is a very cross-functional role, which will work across not just a variety of other functions in analytics, but also with other applications teams in the business.
  • The data & analytics team builds and supports capabilities across Outreach’s product suite, from sales engagement to conversational intelligence and forecasting.
  • The team drives the analytics framework capabilities that other pillars of the company adopt and use for their own functional analytics, while also delivering analytic content for application teams as well.
  • In a given week, the focus of the team can range from a variety of initiatives including: delivering new content, tables and metrics, new functions (eg. pivots, drill-ins), governing a consistent experience, extending analytic content to be more customizable, innovating with AI & ML for novel analytic experiences, and more.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building products in B2B SaaS, including experience working on data & analytics products
  • Proven experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Enterprise customer facing experience including research, feedback sessions, and fielding escalations
  • Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical abilities - you are an expert on the analytic products you’ll be building
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
  • Strong skills around cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field
  • 5+ years experience in building analytics products, ideally for application-focused companies
  • Domain expertise in B2B sales and go-to-market
  • MBA or related graduate degree preferred
