💰 $65,000 - $70,000 per year
About the role
- Design and development of instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training manuals, and job aids with mentorship and support
- Revision and improvement of existing courses across various formats (instructor-led, online, self-paced)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance
- Apply basic instructional design principles and adult learning theories to enhance learner engagement
- Use presentation and authoring tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to create multimedia learning assets
- Write and compile comprehensive trainer’s notes, participant materials, and other course documents
- Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to refine instructional materials
- Maintain organized documentation of design processes and project progress
- Ensure instructional materials are culturally relevant, inclusive, and accessible
- Assist in preparing materials for translation and international use
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Communication, Education or related field strongly preferred; or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in instructional content development or related field
- Portfolio strongly preferred (coursework, freelance, or internship projects acceptable)
- Familiarity with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
- Basic proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is a plus
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
