About the role
- Work independently from home and visit existing or new customers within Spain and occasionally other countries
- Sell and grow business within the Avery Dennison Smartrac RFID product portfolio to industrial customers (e.g., automotive)
- Grow and develop sales with existing customers in Spain and follow up on leads for new customers and opportunities
- Build and manage a sales pipeline based on prospects and previous customers (reactivate customers)
- Perform results-oriented selling including technical recommendations for RFID transponders and applications
- Participate in industrial exhibitions and trade shows
- Responsible for achieving sales and margin targets within EMEA and securing new customer wins
- Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and assess trends and opportunities
- Use SalesForce and other tools to analyze sales activities, create regular sales forecasts, and manage the pipeline efficiently
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in B2B sales, ideally in an international business
- Experience in the RFID industry or with technically exigent products (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage complex projects involving internal partners (Business Development, Product Management, Customer Service, Quality, Credit/Finance, Supply Chain & Operations)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Spanish and English, both spoken and written
- Technical knowledge of RFID transponders and their applications
- Experience using SalesForce and other sales/CRM tools
- Results-oriented selling and pipeline management skills
- Solution-oriented self-starter with a hands-on mentality
- Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently
- Energetic, dedicated, strong self-management to meet deadlines
- Cultural empathy and team-player with relationship-building attitude
- Valid driving license
