About the role
- Lead the Group monthly closing process and ensure accuracy, speed, and completeness.
- Coordinate annual external audits and prepare for audit processes across group structures.
- Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial statements for a multi-entity group.
- Tackle complex accounting issues and provide reliable reporting for management and investors.
- Identify inefficiencies, design workflows, and drive automation across finance operations.
- Strengthen and safeguard accounting processes and controls to ensure compliance.
- Partner with international finance colleagues and contribute to strategic projects.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with at least 6 years of relevant experience, ideally in complex, international environments.
- Experience managing audits and month-end closings independently.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience in complex accounting topics.
- Comfortable with modern accounting systems, advanced Excel, and data handling; experience with automation and digital tools.
- Passion for process improvement and automation.
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
- Strong communication skills; ability to explain complex topics to different stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; German is a bonus but not required.
