Software Engineer

• Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and execution for Astronomer’s observability platform.

Solutions Engineer

• Responsibility for a small number of assigned accounts, ensuring strategic customers extract maximum value from their Astronomer investment.
• Work with Astronomer customers and support the Astronomer Managed Airflow Software installations on their on-premise environments.
• Identify, set up, and measure monitoring & alerting metrics for Customer on-prem Astronomer Software infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
• Independently troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to Astronomer’s Kubernetes-based private-cloud offerings, including Kubernetes, networking, database connectivity, and other critical services.
• Drive major incidents, root cause analysis, change impact analysis & implementation.
• Identify and develop automation using scripts for environment monitoring and health checks.
• Provide guidance/direction to the team for critical/complex infrastructure issues.
• Maintain and continuously improve technical expertise about Airflow and Astronomer's products; stay up to date with latest releases and features.

Senior Solutions Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Site Reliability Engineer

• Operate, monitor, and maintain Astronomer’s managed Airflow platform to ensure availability, predictability, and reliable operations
• Learn and build expertise across Kubernetes, cloud engineering, and cloud networking
• Become an expert on reliability of Kubernetes and underlying cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Create strong relationships with customers and help them achieve reliability goals
• Own the customer experience, working directly with customers to prioritize and solve issues and meet SLAs
• Work directly with customers’ data engineers, system admins, DevOps teams, and management
