About the role
- Recruit, hire and onboard sales representatives; provide coaching, mentoring, and support for individual and team development; promote a positive sales culture with clear values and accountability
- Develop team quotas and action plans that align with the overall company goals; monitor sales pipelines and ensure team activities align with sales targets; lead or participate in sales meetings, planning sessions, and training
- Track and analyze KPIs such as quota attainment, deal conversion rates, sales cycle length, and pipeline health; regularly present sales performance insights to the leadership team
- Implement and optimize sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness; collaborate with marketing and operations to improve lead quality and sales enablement; ensure consistent use of tools, templates, and CRM best practices; introduce AI, automation and tech tools where appropriate to streamline tasks
- Lead or assist in high-stakes negotiations or complex customer deals; collaborate with customer success to ensure long-term relationships
- Ensure the sales team complies with legal, ethical, and company policies; maintain data integrity in CRM and reporting systems; uphold standards around pricing, contracts, and communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals
- 3+ years of proven successful experience working in SaaS sales, Software sales, or Cloud sales environment is essential
- Proven experience in B2B small and mid-market sales
- Experience working with international teams and knowledge of regional market dynamics across North America, UK, EU and APAC would be highly advantageous
- Ability to travel globally for industry events, trade shows, or team meetings
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team to hit goals
- Manages interpersonal conflicts and underperformance effectively
- Ability to structure sales pipelines, assign territories, and manage quotas
- Can articulate value propositions and competitive differentiators
- Experienced in building accurate forecasts and setting realistic KPIs
- Tracks and interprets KPIs to guide decisions (conversion rates, deal size, etc.)
- Able to communicate clearly with executives, cross-functional teams, and clients
- Builds long-term trust and understands client pain points
- Experience in managing and analyzing sales and marketing data to make informed business decisions
- Hands-on attitude with a proven entrepreneurial spirit and pace-setter traits
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
