Lead development and execution of a sales strategy for Ascension’s Pillars of Faith K–8 curriculum and other Parish, Schools, and Small Group products.
Drive adoption across Catholic schools and parishes with a focus on building relationships with diocesan leaders.
Expand market presence in Catholic education, strengthen parish and diocesan relationships, and secure long-term partnerships.
Report to the Associate General Manager of the Schools team and collaborate with Directing Manager, Associate GMs, Marketing Managers, and Parish Relationship Managers.
Develop and implement tailored sales plans with clear goals, timelines, and KPIs to achieve annual sales goals.
Identify and prioritize high-potential dioceses and school networks for targeted outreach, pilots, and relationship-building.
Align campaigns, messaging, and lead generation with Marketing; create and maintain a structured sales pipeline in HubSpot.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing agreements with dioceses, schools, and parishes.
Build and sustain strategic relationships with diocesan leadership and represent Ascension at conferences and diocesan events.
Partner internally to set sales priorities, allocate resources, create sales collateral, train staff, and provide market feedback to product teams.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform positioning and sales strategy.
Requirements
A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in Catholic education, publishing, or faith-based markets. 10+ years of sales experience preferred.
BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Deep understanding of Catholic education and catechetical formation.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a proven ability to build trust-based relationships across varied stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated success in building relationships and driving adoption within Catholic schools or dioceses.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences.
Proficiency with HubSpot (CRM) and sales tracking tools.
Ability to interpret customer data, analyze trends, and report findings.
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel to events and the Ascension office in Exton, PA, as needed.
