Account Executive

• Own the full sales cycle for agency and professional services buyers, from prospecting through close
• Build pipeline through outbound to a named book across primary verticals: Advertising & Marketing, Media, Digital Services, Design & Creative, and PR
• Convert inbound PQLs from the self-serve trial population with rapid, context-aware responses referencing specific in-product behavior
• Run multi-threaded outbound to COOs, Heads of Delivery, and Heads of Client Services using tailored, signal-based outreach
• Work a mix of existing Asana customers expanding into ACM and net-new accounts displacing competitors in fast-paced deal cycles
• Partner with the solutions engineer in your pod for technical demos, platform configuration, and multi-stakeholder deals
• Feed discovery learnings back to the product and go-to-market teams to help shape how ACM is positioned at scale
• Document what works and build the playbook the broader SMB team runs on

SMB Account Executive, Client Management

General Counsel

• Partner closely with sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders—including Finance, Deal Desk, Privacy, and Security—to support high velocity deal cycles.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on outbound commercial agreements and strategic partnership agreements with enterprise customers, including SaaS agreements and related agreements such as DPAs, BAAs, Product-Specific Terms, and AI terms.
• Provide dedicated commercial legal support for Asana's recently acquired StackAI business, bringing creative problem-solving to complex deals and new business issues.
• Act as a trusted legal advisor to sales teams, delivering timely and practical guidance, and driving transaction structures that align with Asana’s policies and business objectives.
• Train sales teams on common commercial issues and best practices in support of closing transactions efficiently.
• Lead commercial legal integration work for the newly acquired business and technology, successfully aligning existing customer contracts, new contract frameworks, risk profiles, and playbooks.
• Apply innovative thinking to the development and scaling of commercial legal team best practices and resources—including internal knowledge-sharing materials, scalable frameworks, legal playbooks, and standards that drive deal velocity and quality.
• Stay current on emerging global laws, regulatory shifts, and judicial decisions relevant to our business (including competition and data protection laws), conducting thorough research to proactively adapt internal legal guidelines.
• Support and manage a variety of high-impact ad hoc legal projects as they arise.

Lead Commercial Counsel

Customer Success Manager

• Work with Asana customers across industries, functions, and stages of their journey in an assigned book of business
• Conduct discovery to build rapport and deeply understand customers’ needs, business processes, and vision
• Consult on change management to help customers adopt Asana as a new way of working
• Lead design workshops to give customers firsthand experience building and adapting their processes in Asana
• Deliver storytelling business reviews that articulate value realized and identify areas of opportunity for deeper impact
• Empower customers to become self-sufficient Asana champions, balancing immediate needs with long-term success and retention
• Consult on AI adoption strategy: translate Asana’s AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes for customers, including consumption-based planning, ROI framing, and executive storytelling
• Drive change management for AI transformation: help customers navigate the people, process, and technology shifts required to move from tool adoption to genuine AI-enabled productivity
• Act as the primary advisor when customers ask: “How can AI help my team work better?”, connecting specific Asana AI features to their workflows, industry context, and goals

Customer Success Manager – Portfolio Accounts

• Own and grow a portfolio of Enterprise accounts through strategic account planning, expansion, and renewals.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with longer deal timelines and larger deal sizes, navigating the intricate security, legal, and compliance review processes typical of regulated industries.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives, IT, risk/compliance officers, and business leaders.
• Drive revenue by aligning our solutions to customer strategic initiatives and demonstrating measurable business value.
• Partner cross-functional with Solutions Engineering, Sales Development, Customer Success, Professional Services, and executive sponsors to execute coordinated account strategies.
• Identify new use cases and expansion opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle, including during active terms and at renewal.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure seamless onboarding, adoption, and long-term success.

Enterprise Account Executive – Vertical Markets

Manager

• Negotiate all facets of contract renewals using commercial judgment.
• Identify customer needs and demonstrate strong account management capabilities to drive on-time renewal closure.
• Engage decision makers to identify customer requirements, budget, key stakeholders, approval processes, and uncover roadblocks.
• Develop and deliver win/win negotiation strategies that maximise contract value while protecting and enhancing the customer relationship and the value they are realising from Asana.
• Maintain and report an accurate rolling 150-day forecast. Analyze renewal data to identify trends.
• Document all renewal steps, in accordance with Renewal Guidelines, clearly in SFDC/Clari systems.
• Manage the quote-to-close processes for all renewals within an assigned territory. Create and negotiate strategic pricing and packaging proposals.
• Effectively defend against competitive pressures and articulate Asana’s differentiating factors.
• Identify risk early and navigate complex customer requests by effectively partnering with cross-functional groups such as Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and Sales Management to ensure customers realize value out of their investment in Asana.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of efficient renewal processes, identifying and resolving inefficiencies.

Renewals Manager

Artificial Intelligence

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex CX AI enablement initiatives, from initial strategy and content development to global cross-functional execution.
• Consult with CX leadership to prioritize AI enablement initiatives that align with broader corporate strategy and overarching organizational goals.
• Design and facilitate diverse training experiences, including AI Foundational Enablement and AI Product enablement, ranging from interactive workshops to scalable, self-serve modules.
• Partner with stakeholders to build & deploy AI and program enablement driving productivity enhancements & field readiness.
• Establish a consistent CX AI communication 'drumbeat' and roadmap to ensure regional and global teams are proficient in evolving AI capabilities.
• Partner with Sales Enablement and Product Marketing to influence the development of revenue-wide AI enablement materials and amplify customer-centric value narratives.
• Drive the evolution of the CX Customer Journey by updating AI engagement touchpoints, including consumption transition and AI consulting skills for the field.
• Leverage data and insights to track enablement program performance and surface recommendations that enhance productivity and field readiness.

CX Enablement Partner, AI

• Drive revenue growth by expanding existing customer accounts through customer success, up-selling, cross-selling, and strong commercial strategy.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing for complex deals with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
• Drive revenue by leveraging negotiation skills and data-driven insights to secure win-win partnerships.
• Define territory and account strategies that enable sales velocity in partnership with Sales Engineers, Sales Development Reps, Customer Success Managers, Professional Services, Channel and Partnership Managers, and Exec Sponsors.
• Build trust with C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and other stakeholders by aligning Asana’s solutions with their strategic goals and expanding usage into new departments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless experience and ensure successful adoption.
