About the role

  • The Area Sales Manager will be servicing and growing the Installed Base of equipment in the assigned territory by selling repair services, refurbishments, upgrades, parts, process optimization, and equipment training.
  • The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for covering all ANDRITZ Separation product lines including centrifuges, belt filter presses, screens, and ancillary equipment.
  • They will report to the Regional Service Sales Manager and work very closely with the various Service Center Managers and Product Specialists.
  • Calls on customers in the Area on a regular basis to grow the business.
  • Maintains active communications with respective in-house personnel.
  • Communicates customer visits in writing via CIC reports in an established timely and consistent manner.
  • Represents all product lines assigned on each customer visit.
  • Assure customer satisfaction throughout the Area.
  • Responsible for Area forecasts, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Maintain established customer base and develop new relationships.
  • Periodically evaluate effectiveness of key account sales strategies and tactics.
  • Assist in co-coordinating ANDRITZ activities in each account.
  • Pass on sales opportunities/leads to the ANDRITZ Capital Sales group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in the Industrial Sales environment.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including team leadership.
  • Established relationships with customers in the area is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel (overnight travel is required).
