Provide strategic leadership and execution support for organic search marketing and social media client accounts
Translate client objectives into effective search marketing strategies
Define measurable acquisition-based keyword and content strategies for clients
Deliver comprehensive technical SEO analysis and recommendations for crawlability and indexation
Deliver detailed and analytical site performance reporting insights and organic online marketing recommendations with team support
Consult and analyze all aspects of SEO including competitive research, usability, E-A-T, core web vitals, site structure, link acquisition, measurement, and content strategy
Act as primary client contact, educate clients on SEO strategies, tactics, deliverables, and performance, and make persuasive business cases for SEO
Lead and inspire a team of 1-3 members in execution of organic search and social media programs
Stay up to date on SEO industry trends and technologies and communicate them to clients and internal teams
Requirements
5-6 years or more of experience contributing to or managing SEO programs, preferably in an agency setting
Evidence of success with previous SEO campaigns for medium to large brands, ideally including ecommerce companies
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related area
Strong understanding of cross-channel marketing principles
Self-starter able to develop, lead, prioritize and execute on SEO strategies for multiple clients simultaneously
Compelling written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel
Advanced understanding of technical SEO concepts (crawling, indexing, rendering, AMP, site migrations, page speed optimization, core web vitals)
Strong project management and organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Advanced understanding and experienced user of Google Analytics and Google Search Console; Tag Manager and/or Publisher Center a plus
Understanding of recent SEO developments such as Core Web Vitals, Google Discover, E-A-T, new Rich Results
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS as they impact search performance
Strong knowledge and experience using standard and enterprise search tools and platforms (Botify, Sitebulb, Conductor Searchlight, Stat, Sistrix, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, etc.)
