About the role

  • Lead the teams responsible for how marketers connect with their customers through Amperity’s platform
  • Shape both the technical execution and the broader strategy for delivering intuitive, customer experiences
  • Ensure multiple teams across geographies and time zones operate as a cohesive organization
  • Set the vision and execution path for evolving Activation capabilities, driving debate and accountability
  • Invest in building great teams and future leaders — mentoring across the company and promoting a culture of empowerment, inclusion, and continuous improvement
  • Report to the SVP, Engineering
  • Lead work on real-time querying capabilities, integrations with Databricks, Snowflake, and paid-media connectors
  • Deliver enriched data assets and insights to diverse systems and create intuitive user experiences that help customers produce insights and measure results
  • Build and nurture teams that support each other across a distributed working environment

Requirements

  • 15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years leading managers of managers
  • Experience leading multiple teams across geographies and time zones, aligning them to a shared vision and measurable goals
  • Experience mentoring managers and individual contributors, and for building diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe teams
  • Guide organizational learning and continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics
  • Experienced in overseeing and delivering complex projects and making decisions that shape our long-term success
  • Focus on operational excellence, with the ability to establish and champion group-wide metrics and processes that improves organizational health
  • Technical credibility across domains such as query systems and connectors — with the ability to contribute to strategy while empowering your teams to manage execution
  • Experience recruiting and retaining top talent, and at leading organizations through evolving priorities and complex dependencies
