About the role

  • Act as key contact for assigned accounts within a territory providing tactical sales direction and communication strategies
  • Implement business and marketing plans for assigned accounts and focus on growing share of wallet
  • Deliver sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned territory and drive forecast accuracy
  • Prospect and network to increase business with existing and new accounts and manage complex customer needs
  • Orchestrate and support key business negotiations to influence decisions and actions
  • Build collaborative relationships with account leadership, marketing, R&D and cross-functional teams to support commercialization and onboarding
  • Coordinate Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service for validation trials and customer trials
  • Manage accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department
  • Report monthly on sales and marketing performance and maintain Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM tool

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years relevant experience in technical, sales and general management, preferably within the packaging industry
  • Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability
  • Experience with negotiations
  • Experience in working in a large scale business-to-business environment
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally 60% of time
