Act as key contact for assigned accounts within a territory providing tactical sales direction and communication strategies
Implement business and marketing plans for assigned accounts and focus on growing share of wallet
Deliver sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned territory and drive forecast accuracy
Prospect and network to increase business with existing and new accounts and manage complex customer needs
Orchestrate and support key business negotiations to influence decisions and actions
Build collaborative relationships with account leadership, marketing, R&D and cross-functional teams to support commercialization and onboarding
Coordinate Sales Management, R&D, Marketing and Field Service for validation trials and customer trials
Manage accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department
Report monthly on sales and marketing performance and maintain Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM tool
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years relevant experience in technical, sales and general management, preferably within the packaging industry
Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability
Experience with negotiations
Experience in working in a large scale business-to-business environment
Ability to travel domestically & internationally 60% of time
