About the role
- Develop an advanced understanding of the EMS industry including client needs and business challenges
- Develop a strong understanding of the functionality and business uses of the RescueNet Suite
- Work with marketing and the sales trainer to develop awareness of competitors and product positioning
- Canvas and develop assigned sales territory: prospect identification, lead generation, and qualifying prospects
- Give product demos via WebEx and in person; work with sales support and sales engineers as appropriate
- Coordinate proposals and RFPs and use sales toolkits to communicate the RescueNet story
- Negotiate and close deals using ZOLL's sales methodology (derivative of Miller Heiman)
- Work proactively with Core reps to develop joint deals leveraging The One ZOLL Advantage
- Attend trade shows and marketing/networking events to generate leads
- Actively network with trade organizations to promote awareness in assigned territory
- Travel upwards of 50-75% for in-person prospecting, demos, and meetings
- Adhere to company best practices for Sales Hand-Offs and procedural issues
- Diligently and accurately forecast sales activity and anticipated deal closures; maintain activity metrics
- Responsible for quota attainment in assigned territory and recording all prospecting and sales results in company CRM system
Requirements
- 2+ years of quota carrying sales experience
- Demonstrated experience meeting sales quotas
- Proven success working from a remote office
- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently work a large geographic territory
- Expert ability to converse intelligently about software and hardware products and services
- Ability to travel upwards of 50-75% of the time
- Public Safety/EMS Industry background/knowledge (Preferred)
- Software/ SaaS Sales experience (Preferred)
- Ability to give product demos via WebEx and in person
- Experience using CRM systems and recording sales activity
- Ability to qualify prospects, generate leads, and close deals
- Ability to adhere to company sales best practices and forecasting requirements
- Physical demands: standing occasionally, walking occasionally, sitting constantly, talking occasionally, hearing occasionally, repetitive motions frequently
