About the role
- Own sales-closed deals for Ambrook’s product, set and hit aggressive targets for deals closed-won
- Manage a team of sales professionals: hire, motivate, and hold them accountable daily
- Teach sales team members to provide product feedback and close customers
- Lead demos end-to-end and independently close customers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, product, operations, and revops
- Analyze sales practices, provide readouts, and improve team processes, playbooks, and mentorship
- Work with engineering to build dashboards and analyze data to track pipeline and outcomes
- Provide product feedback to influence roadmap prioritization
- Build hiring plans, determine resourcing, and recruit necessary team members
- Learn and embed knowledge of agrifinance, agricultural bookkeeping, and farm finance ecosystem
- Contribute content about growth and process improvements to the company blog
Requirements
- Proven experience achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a high growth environment
- Proven sales expertise and experience building out a sales function (player/coach)
- Systems thinker with ability to examine and improve processes by doing the work
- Experience selling and/or building in ambiguous, high-growth situations (pre- to post-hypergrowth)
- Thoughtful, compassionate, and effective managerial experience with strong referrals
- Ability to hire, motivate, and hold sales team members accountable
- Familiarity or willingness to learn agricultural bookkeeping, farm finance, and natural resource management/ESG
- Bonus: Experience with product-led growth, sales-assist, and channel partner motions
- Bonus: Experience in American industry (ag, trucking, construction, etc.)
