About the role

  • Own sales-closed deals for Ambrook’s product, set and hit aggressive targets for deals closed-won
  • Manage a team of sales professionals: hire, motivate, and hold them accountable daily
  • Teach sales team members to provide product feedback and close customers
  • Lead demos end-to-end and independently close customers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, product, operations, and revops
  • Analyze sales practices, provide readouts, and improve team processes, playbooks, and mentorship
  • Work with engineering to build dashboards and analyze data to track pipeline and outcomes
  • Provide product feedback to influence roadmap prioritization
  • Build hiring plans, determine resourcing, and recruit necessary team members
  • Learn and embed knowledge of agrifinance, agricultural bookkeeping, and farm finance ecosystem
  • Contribute content about growth and process improvements to the company blog

Requirements

  • Proven experience achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a high growth environment
  • Proven sales expertise and experience building out a sales function (player/coach)
  • Systems thinker with ability to examine and improve processes by doing the work
  • Experience selling and/or building in ambiguous, high-growth situations (pre- to post-hypergrowth)
  • Thoughtful, compassionate, and effective managerial experience with strong referrals
  • Ability to hire, motivate, and hold sales team members accountable
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn agricultural bookkeeping, farm finance, and natural resource management/ESG
  • Bonus: Experience with product-led growth, sales-assist, and channel partner motions
  • Bonus: Experience in American industry (ag, trucking, construction, etc.)
  • Bonus: Experience in fintech
