About the role
- Oversee planning and implementation of projects from approval through execution; create timelines and map multiple tasks.
- Work closely with Client & Account Management to import details into project management tools and communicate project status to clients and internal teams.
- Assign tasks and teams and ensure each stage of development, build, execution and implementation are executed flawlessly through a rigorous project management and QC process.
- Uphold operational excellence, optimizing processes internally and with clients.
- Manage and mentor a team of project management professionals in the US and the Philippines; recruit, train, and develop team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and monitor project timelines and budgets.
- Review project tasks and subtasks against scope obligations to manage burn and overall agency profitability; review change orders and assess impact on scope and revenue.
- Establish KPIs for the project management team and regularly monitor and report on performance metrics; standardize project timelines and expectations.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding account operations; present project operations to clients to maintain confidence.
- Identify potential risks and issues and develop proactive mitigation strategies; escalate issues to the VP, Customer Success when needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices and share insights with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (1 - 3 years) in project management within a marketing agency or similar environment working across multiple functions, projects and accounts.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- In-depth understanding of marketing operations, project management methodologies and tools, and creative production processes.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to keep projects on schedule, helping teams effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with marketing technologies, automation tools, and project management software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
