Partner with leaders to scale the organization thoughtfully and sustainably with focus on talent development
Influence and shape core People Team processes like performance, engagement, and org design
Lead employee relations, employee engagement programming, and investigations
Conduct and facilitate training related to people principles and cultural norms/expectations
Support the Sr. Director, People in org design and structural changes to ensure consistency
Monitor and help maintain accuracy of employee records using HRIS systems
Evaluate department-level new-hire onboarding and help leaders onboard and ramp new Airbyters effectively
Lead performance management activities and compensation modifications; help leaders understand team performance and reward outperformance
Identify and support programming that builds velocity within the business, specifically learning and development
Requirements
7+ years of progressive HR/ People experience
4–5 years specifically in an HRBP or generalist role, ideally partnering closely with business leaders in all functions
Experience across key HR disciplines like org design, performance management, employee relations, and talent development
Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, drive org change, and manage through ambiguity at scale
Proven ability to effectively and respectfully partner with individuals at varying levels within an organization
Strong communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, listening, business writing, facilitation and presentation skills)
Success in high-growth environments with exposure to helping employees through change
Proven performance management skills (coaching, performance improvement, career growth and judgment)
Advocated and championed various people and learning and development processes and programs
Understanding of people-related metrics and comfort with using data as an input to decision-making
A learning mindset, growth orientation, intellectual honesty
Onsite in San Francisco 3x/week (role location requirement)
