Lead the HR & Recruiting function and serve as a key advisor to leadership on organizational growth
Manage and develop a team of 2 recruiters (including a Principal Recruiter) and 1 office manager/scheduler and create roadmap for HR team growth
Partner with Principal Recruiter on talent strategy, workforce planning, and recruiting execution
Design and implement scalable recruiting processes, tools, and systems to strengthen candidate pipeline and hiring efficiency
Own development, implementation, and evolution of Runwise’s entire benefits program; collaborate with brokers to evaluate, negotiate, and administer offerings
Manage the company’s PEO relationship and evaluate alternatives to determine long-term HRIS platform
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across jurisdictions and keep company policies current
Manage employee records and policies, implement processes and audits for compliance (new hire notification, unemployment claims, records retention)
Provide project management, operational, technology, and analytical support across compensation, benefits, performance management, engagement, and recruiting
Lead and evolve performance management strategy
Use data and metrics to evaluate recruiting funnels, HR initiatives, employee engagement, and benefits usage
Act as a culture carrier to embed Runwise’s values in hiring, onboarding, and employee development
Requirements
7+ years of experience in HR, with a strong blend of benefits expertise and recruiting/talent acquisition leadership
Experience managing and developing recruiting teams
Experience partnering with business leaders on workforce planning
Direct experience working with brokers to negotiate and administer health insurance and other benefit programs
Experience building and scaling recruiting strategies in high-growth environments
Experience managing PEO relationships and evaluating/building HRIS platforms
Well-versed in compliance and labor laws across jurisdictions
Proven experience designing processes and policies that meet multi-jurisdictional requirements
Highly data-oriented, leveraging metrics to drive HR and recruiting outcomes
Strong leadership and management skills, including coaching and org design
Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across levels
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment
