Account Executive

• Charged with closing a list of accounts (inbound and outbound) across different product lines, reporting to the Head of Sales.
• Sell primarily into the CTO / CIO organization with frequent interaction with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Heads of Engineering, Developers, Data Scientists.
• Manage the entire deal cycle on qualified leads through Evaluation, POC, Proposal, Negotiation, and Closed-Won, tracking towards a quarterly bookings target (quota).
• Own relationship building and deal formulation across a book of business and grow client base via new business and small footprint deals.
• Share in prospecting and outbound efforts.
• Act as a conduit for competitive intel, feature requests, and customer requirements to product, marketing, executive, and engineering teams.

Enterprise Account Executive

Business Development Rep

• Hunt and prospect into named enterprise accounts and generate meetings with all levels of employees from C-Level to data analysts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Enterprise Account Executives to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals.
• Demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise customers’ data challenges and pain points while being able to give an intro to how Airbyte solves them.
• Create personalized outreach cadences specific to the account and use case.
• Log activity, categorize sales lead information, and collect and share customer feedback internally.
• Work onsite from San Francisco office (onsite 4x/week) and coordinate with Enterprise Sales and Marketing teams.

Enterprise Business Development Representative

People Operations

• Partner with leaders to scale the organization thoughtfully and sustainably with focus on talent development
• Influence and shape core People Team processes like performance, engagement, and org design
• Lead employee relations, employee engagement programming, and investigations
• Conduct and facilitate training related to people principles and cultural norms/expectations
• Support the Sr. Director, People in org design and structural changes to ensure consistency
• Monitor and help maintain accuracy of employee records using HRIS systems

• Build core technologies managing Airbyte's fleet of high-volume database connectors powering thousands of enterprise customers.
• Architect a framework that makes connector development 10x faster while driving innovation across the data engineering industry.
• Write high-leverage code that directly enables Airbyte's rapid growth and market leadership in database connectivity.
• Mentor brilliant engineers while collaborating with our 800+ contributor community.
• Build AI-Powered Integration Frameworks leveraging LLMs to generate database integrations and reduce development time from weeks to hours.
• Engineer Advanced Change Data Capture (CDC) Engines using write-ahead logging and real-time data streaming to capture database changes with microsecond precision.
• Deep-dive into database internals, optimize queries, and manage information schema to build the fastest data extraction systems in the industry.

• Build the foundation of Airbyte's hiring engine and partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Source and engage specialized technical talent (data infrastructure, distributed systems, AI/ML, DevOps) across multiple concurrent searches.
• Leverage advanced strategies—boolean/X-ray searches, GitHub/StackOverflow sourcing, AI-driven tools, and nontraditional channels—to uncover passive and niche talent.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align on role requirements, team dynamics, and long-term hiring goals.
• Act as an ambassador for Airbyte, building trusted relationships and sharing our mission with candidates.
• Track and analyze sourcing funnel metrics (e.g., response rates, pass-through, time-to-slate) to optimize outreach and demonstrate impact.
• Maintain accurate pipelines in our ATS (Greenhouse, Ashby) and contribute to sourcing best practices across the team.
