About the role

  • Reports to leader of Transactional COE; works with LBE team to deliver transactional legal services.
  • Negotiates, drafts, and reviews global sales contracts; advises on business matters; supervises outside counsel; develops processes.
  • Should have experience supporting global sales teams; drafting technology-related contracts; broad legal skills and a superior business judgment; manage risk, while pursuing company strategies.
  • Experience supporting international manufacturing company strongly preferred.
  • This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Key tasks include drafting/negotiating a wide range of sales related contracts; including service agreements, MSAs, agency agreements, teaming agreements, strategic alliance contracts, and professional services agreements; international sales agreements and government contracts; provide commercial counsel; assist with process improvement; legal templates; M&A due diligence.

Requirements

  • Experience reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial and sales agreements
  • Ability to work independently, manage and prioritize projects and meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Legal research and drafting proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle a large-volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Business-oriented problem solving and judgment
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to exercise independent legal judgement within company’s risk tolerance
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle tools or legal operations platforms is a plus
  • Experience advising an international manufacturing business and negotiating global contracts is strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant legal experience
