About the role
- Commercial Outdoor Product Team providing lighting solutions for a wide variety of commercial outdoor applications with full P&L responsibility
- Full responsibility for assigned products including all aspects of product life cycle management and owning the business segment
- Manage strategic product roadmap, development, launch, and drive KPIs
- Drive product life cycle management by understanding market demands, technology trends, and competitive landscape
- Lead marketing and sales strategy through influence and cross-functional collaboration
- Business Execution: achieve business goals and KPIs; manage quality, delivery, cost, inventory (QDCI)
- Business Strategy: align product portfolio with ABL operations and priorities; gather inputs and implement strategy
- New Product Development: identify product/market opportunities, develop business cases, participate in design events, lead commercialization and post-launch support
- Life Cycle Management: phase in/phase out decisions, sales and market trend analysis, pricing and margin management
- Matrix Connectivity: support matrix partners, provide product and technical training, engage focus factory on PIPO and inventory management
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum three years of applicable experience required
- Outdoor lighting experience preferred
- Demonstrated successful development and launch of multiple products
- Navigated strategic changes to product roadmaps and product families
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
