Be retailer experts and thoroughly execute client plans; grow our client's business within each Retailer faster than the category and the Retailer themselves
Create and sustain client satisfaction by assisting in the development of business plans and owning clients’ execution strategies with assigned retailers
Drive client growth across brands through deep knowledge of retailer operations and merchandising strategies, insights, effective selling, and execution
Own development and maintenance of strong relationships with Clients and Customers within a geographic region, including understanding their goals and objectives
Present targeted strategic client plans to build brand promotion strategies and strengthen brand activation
Accountable for execution of strategic plans for Clients’ brands to Retailers, including sales, share, distribution, promotion, pricing, merchandising and financial management
Responsible for ongoing Client Team communication: provide status, opportunities, manage expectations and needs associated with achievement of Client’s business plan
Communicate and transfer knowledge about Customer changes and insights across CROSSMARK positions to be the “customer experts”
Consistently and exclusively use CROSSVIEW as the business planning, communication and execution framework
Assist Business Account Manager(s) in development of targeted strategic Client plans
Sell additional services to Clients through analysis of Client strategy and performance insights
Provide feedback and assist in preparation for CROSSVIEW Business Reviews and participate in presentations where appropriate
Work in office and field environments; may require travel within the US and bringing sample products to account calls
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the CPG industry preferred
5+ years of sales experience
PC knowledge and skills in Word, Excel, email and PowerPoint
Communication skills, including listening, presentations, written and verbal skills
Insights-based, consultative selling and negotiation skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel with pivot tables, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Retailer knowledge and respect with/by the retailer
Understanding of our client's strategy and client expectations
Ability to understand and communicate insights
Persuasive selling and professionalism
A valid driver’s license
Ability to travel within the US for customer, client or company meetings on an as needed basis
Ability to bring sample products to the account calls
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity
