About the role

  • Work with major consumer brands (CPG) to increase market share
  • Responsible for management of assigned principals’ business in a defined marketing area
  • Increase sales and market share while earning profit for manufacturers and Acosta
  • Coordinate clients' market visits and key account calls
  • Communicate clients' priorities to Retail Sales Organization to deliver in-store presence and objectives
  • Manage and participate in development, design and presentation of Acosta introductions to new clients
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of clients' strategies, selling programs, and initiatives
  • Maintain current account distribution information and provide feedback to build organizational capacity and improve business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track-record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills
  • Ability to analyze sales and marketing information to make effective sales presentations
  • Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function
  • Willing to travel
