Sell the entire portfolio of cardiovascular product categories (Coronary, Endovascular, CRM, EP, Structural Heart, Heart Failure and Capital) across assigned accounts and geography
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned IDNs, IHNs and multi-hospital systems
Proactively build deep executive level relationships across C-suite, supply chain, health economics and quality committees
Engage and partner with stakeholders beyond contracting to develop solutions and services
Drive, create and negotiate complex contract structures and integrated product agreements
Develop and implement business plans for targeted accounts and prepare/deliver corporate proposals and branding/positioning presentations
Work closely with corporate contract management and legal staff to ensure contract compliance
Partner with sales counterparts to develop, implement and manage strategic initiatives within targeted accounts
Meet or exceed annual sales objectives (responsible for delivering ~$80-100mm in revenue on average)
Influence organizational thinking on evolving healthcare landscape and keep the broader organization updated on account planning and progress
Optimize account management by leveraging sales ops data and Abbott’s internal resources (inside sales, marketing, etc.)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Advanced degree preferred
Proven track record of sales success with particular focus on negotiation skills, ASP management and revenue and market share enhancement
At least 5+ years of related work/sales experience
At least 2+ years of sales management experience
Prior experience and/or knowledge of the cardiovascular device space strongly preferred
Experience in growth and mature businesses and managing multiple product portfolios
Ability to work with and influence others and prepare/deliver effective oral and written communications
Ability to prioritize tasks, analyze problems, develop solution alternatives and implement tactics
Willingness to travel ~50% covering assigned geographic territory
Ability to drive a personal auto or company vehicle; continuous prolonged sitting and standing
