About the role
- Drive new growth in the government criminal justice and treatment market as part of the Toxicology Government Services team.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and lead generation.
- Set up meetings with prospects to introduce products and services.
- Perform prospect and customer needs assessments.
- Prepare and send quotes and proposals.
- Coordinate and secure contracts and agreements between new clients and contracts team.
- Support new account implementation activities within sales and operations.
- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products and services.
- Attend trade shows, in-person customer visits, and conferences.
- Remote role with approximately 50% travel to visit large customers and attend conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
- Five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Salesforce.
- Must be willing to travel in multi-state territory with some overnight travel (approximately 50% travel).
- Remote position; preference for candidates based in the Northeast region to support regional travel and team collaboration.
- Preferred: Drug testing industry knowledge.
- Preferred: Criminal justice or treatment market knowledge.
- Preferred: Experience in lab screen and confirmation sales.
- Preferred: Proven track record in Sales.
