About the role
- Act as a key contributor managing and executing accounting tasks for various clients
- Collaborate with Staff Accountants, Controllers, Directors, and Shared Service Specialists
- Use platforms such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, and NetSuite for client accounting
- Execute balance sheet account reconciliations with supporting schedules (prepaids, fixed assets, etc.)
- Maintain supporting schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and more
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare sales tax returns and year-end 1099s when necessary
- Ensure integrity of accounting information by recording and verifying transactions
- Coordinate with audit or tax teams on client requirements
- Mentor and foster growth of Staff Accountants and junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- CPA highly preferred
- Public accounting experience highly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in tools like QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, NetSuite, and Excel
- Public accounting or other client service business experience
- Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Background check required for employment
