About the role
- Elicit, define, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with VA stakeholders and system users.
- Create and maintain use cases, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into system requirements for technical teams.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of delivered solutions.
- Ensure traceability of requirements from inception through implementation.
- Assist with change management and communications regarding system updates.
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
Requirements
- BD degree in A Bachelors Degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cost Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline or related field
- 5 years of related professional experience
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Experience working with federal financial or administrative systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Visio (preferred)
- CBAP or PMI-PBA certification (preferred)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills (preferred)
