Sales Engineer

• Responsible for selling complex technological products or services to businesses.
• The Sales Engineer will serve customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment and service.

• Owner of the Supply Chain Planning solution expertise through product evangelism, deep product expertise, and application of industry nuances and differentiators.
• Create deep Supply Chain Planning product expertise and represent the ‘go-to’ expert for the Supply Chain Planning platform.
• Provide expertise for Supply Chain Planning integration across prospects' business systems during the sales cycle.
• Support Supply Chain Planning opportunity qualification, progression, and closure through technical expertise and relationship building.
• Work directly with Channel Partners and Value-Added Resellers as required as part of sales cycles.
• Participate in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and develop integration requirements specifications and industry alignment.
• Provide Supply Chain Planning platform, product, and bill of material inputs into the prospect's proposal cycle.
• Prepare and lead Supply Chain Planning product demonstrations and Lead Proof of Concepts (POC).
• Provide customer and market differentiator input to Supply Chain Planning Product Management as input into future development and capability requirements.
• Attend key Sales Leadership and L10 meetings as required.

Sales Engineer, Supply Chain Planning

• Drive high levels of customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the ATG Sales Specialists & Account Teams to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies
• Build trust and rapport with customers and prospects in person, and be their main technical point of contact throughout the process
• Work closely with customers/prospects for technical discovery, as well as planning, execution and wrap up of Proof-of-Concept (POC) and Production Evaluations
• Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions encompassing the Data Security portfolio, including a full Data Loss Prevention suite (email, endpoint, cloud and web), Insider Risk and Data Security Posture Management
• Assist in professional services deployments, technical training and presentation at or attending industry seminars and/or trade shows
• Work collaboratively with other groups, including Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product Management, to ensure the effective operation of the team, achieve technical win, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
• Provide valuable customer insight and real-world experiences to Product Management, Marketing, and Product Development (Engineering) teams to help keep solutions the best in the industry
• Develop and deliver training presentations to peers, account managers, and other teams within Proofpoint
• Contribute across all corporate communication channels, write and help upkeep internal documentation and training
• Help develop solutions to common challenges and establish processes within the team, broader group, and across the sales engineering organization

Senior Sales Engineer – Data Security

• Become technically proficient in application of Schaeffler bearing portfolio
• Within assigned territory, continuously evaluate and update the market potential and competitive landscape for Schaeffler products
• Develop understanding of customer’s business and the link between customer success and use of Schaeffler products
• Establish depth and breadth within customer network, create customer relationships
• Maintain existing business by demonstrating robust commercial sales aptitude and problem solving
• Develop new business by understanding customer decision factors, aligning those factors with Schaeffler competencies and presenting a compelling value proposition to the customer
• Respond to customer inquiries and orders in a timely and professional manner
• Obtain technical and commercial data on new/existing applications where application engineering is required, and efficiently use Schaeffler application engineering services
• Ongoing review, use and maintenance of sales reports: open orders, sales statistics, Product Forecast, open quotes, etc.
• Regular and timely use of Schaeffler CRM system, SalesForce.Com (Visit reports, opportunity logging, etc.)
• Periodic presentations to internal management team for territory performance
• Prepare a weekly Good News/Bad News report that is distributed to Sales Management and Product Line Staff
• Participate in relevant industry seminars, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Sales Engineer – OEM

• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally
• Become an expert on Samsara products: where the rubber of cutting-edge tech meets the road of driving digital transformation for physical operations.
• Articulate to prospects how businesses like theirs use Samsara today to solve challenges common to their industry.
• Deliver the work products that get deals done. Think discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, proof of concept implementations, etc.
• Walk installers through any scenario, explaining best practices for installing Samsara products and helping build deployment plans.
• Write scripts against our open API that solve real-world problems for companies that deliver essential services, and document them for your fellow SE’s to use.
• Open the door for deeper entrenchment into accounts by becoming a consultant to your customers.
• Act as a liaison between Samsara’s product and sales teams, translating technical feedback and enrolling the right customers in our beta programs.

Sales Engineer – Mid-Market Southeast

• Assist the Global Sales Team with their technical inquiries and tasks by monitoring and maintaining an inbound question queue
• Assist with technical trials across Samsara’s Sales Engineering team as necessary
• Create software scripting solutions and integrations where appropriate
• Be available for internal Q&A from Samsara account teams
• Produce and manage digital content to assist with product learning and adoption
• Update and manage internal hardware and software lab infrastructure
• Coordinate and participate in new product testing activities
• Gather and highlight industry-specific customer use cases
• Coordinate cross functional communication to ensure prospect success

Sales Engineer I, SE Desk Southeast

• Responsible for driving sales growth by identifying opportunities and providing technical expertise in the backup power generation market
