About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop assigned key Industrial OEMs, supporting the growth and meeting/exceed the revenue and profit targets for the IEC Low Voltage Motor Business in your area
- Build and implement a comprehensive growth plan to demonstrate existing business relationships and new partnerships
- Work with various teams to define requirements for product development with customers
- Perform market research and industry trends to identify new business, fields/opportunities, and customer’s needs and establish strategies and growth programs
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry, analyze changing markets and competitive landscape, collaborate with portfolio management teams to plan and implement strategies to meet future market needs
- Support new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating project proposals; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Build trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers
- Provide technical training support to customers
- Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
- Attend and present at conferences, meetings, and industry events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or Mechatronics preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related field of electric motor products
- Goal-oriented, organized teammate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, presentation, and writing
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and handle time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed, ability to thrive with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) & CRM tools
- 75% ability to travel to see clients, explore new markets and attend conventions
