• Design and execute cell-based pharmacology assays to evaluate proximity-inducing compounds (degraders, molecular glues, stabilizers)
• Manage CRO relationships for outsourced assays and run high-priority experiments in-house
• Characterize compound activity profiles: dose-response, kinetics, selectivity, mechanism of action, and SAR at the cellular level
• Build and validate disease-relevant cellular models (engineered cell lines, primary cells, co-culture systems) for target validation and translational pharmacology
• Develop and optimize quantitative assay readouts including high-content imaging, flow cytometry, reporter systems, and multiplexed approaches
• Collaborate with computational scientists and the XLMS platform team, providing biological feedback to improve ML model predictions and data generation priorities
• Prepare data packages for internal decision-making, BD/partnership discussions, and due diligence

Principal Biologist

• Lead and inspire a team or teams of engineers, scientists, project managers, and support staff to deliver high-quality results on projects.
• Recruit, mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, promoting their growth and career advancement.
• Cultivate, engage, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and partners.
• Understand our business and support implementation of business practices and processes.
• Lead projects from project development through completion identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimates, and implementation plans including QA/QC and risk management. Champion QA/QC procedures and policies.
• Understand contract risks, terms and conditions, and professional liability matters, and mitigate risk as required, in consultation with Senior Management or Divisional Leadership.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables: Demonstrates excellent writing skills through the consistent production of high-quality technical memoranda and reports. Ensures that the review process and other quality control guidelines are followed, and that final reports and presentations are completed per company standard operating procedures using standard company formats.

• Business Development of new trading counterparties pipelines and storage operators.
• Develop new product/service offerings.
• Perform basic analysis and financial modeling to assess the value-add of proposals.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to visit customers and attend events.
