Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional

• Responsible for timely and accurate billing and collections of payments from insurance carriers, agencies, and others
• Handle equipment and services provided by Providence Senior and Community Services and Home and Community Services including Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy/Oral Dose, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment

Accounts Receivable Representative

• Contact clients via telephone and email to inquire about the status of outstanding A/R to include duplicate payments and skipped invoices for payment
• Collaborate with project manager/s and others in the client services team to resolve issues causing payment delay of A/R
• Research misapplied or unapplied client payments
• Record comments regarding the status of outstanding balances within the A/R system
• Generate monthly aging reports for use during monthly A/R status meetings
• Generate and distribute monthly statements of payment reminders to clients
• Generate and distribute collection letters to clients as requested by project manager/s
• Respond to client request for copies of open invoices, W-9 forms, and other documentation

• Analyze each agency's outstanding monthly accounts receivable, and process claims to obtain zero balances.

Home Health Self Pay Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Manage a high volume of collection calls to customers, ensuring that payments are collected within term and respond to incoming customer inquiries regarding billing, payment status, and discrepancies
• Generate and send accurate invoices to customers based on contracts, orders, or agreements in a timely manner
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
• Reconcile and apply customer payments to assigned accounts, including lockbox, credit card receipts, and other payment methods
• Complete month-end reconciliations ensuring all accounts are accurately balanced and any discrepancies are resolved prior to deadlines
• Work closely with internal sales staff to research and resolve billing issues
• Assist with credit card processing tasks, including handling declines, invalid cards, prepayments, applications, chargebacks, and other related duties
• Process and apply credit memos in accordance with company policies and customer agreements
• Process and manage credit holds daily by collecting prepayments and purchase orders, ensuring customers' accounts are in good standing and orders are processed appropriately
• Support the department with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned

• Ensure strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client-related data
• Review customer account reports and follow up to ensure any flags/concerns are notated proactively and communicated to the Customer Billing Advocate (CBA)
• Review A/R Aging Reports and follow up with insurance companies regarding expected reimbursement for outstanding claims
• Notate & document all follow up work on aging claims within A/R Aging Reports as required and documented in standard SOPs
• Meet expectations on deadlines for completion of A/R Aging Reports for each customer supported within POD
• Follow up on denials immediately and communicate any trends to CBA
• Follow up on any open A/R tickets in Salesforce as assigned by CBA
• Meet deadlines assigned for A/R work as assigned by CBA
• Utilize denial management platforms for submission of appeals, reconsideration requests, etc.
• Research specific payor billing rules as needed
• Follow up on claims submitted electronically for primary and secondary payors
• Submit corrected claims when needed
• Attend POD meetings and contribute to agenda items as designated by CBA
• Post payments or submit missing payments to posting team and maintain A/R as assigned
• File appeals to insurance and to insurance commissioner as needed

• Oversee, develop, and be accountable for a Line of Business (ASC) and lead a POD team structure of 5-15 individuals
• Partner with offshore leadership and PDO teams, responsible for $2-$3 million in revenue
• Leads, develops, and assists A/R Representatives and Account Performance Managers with client account performance
• Partners with Learning and Development to create an onboarding and training framework
• Develops inexperienced or underperforming employees and provides feedback and coaching
• Monitors performance through established department KPIs and holds the team accountable
• Partners with the analytics team and Account Performance Managers to review and analyze reports and data
• Acts as a resource for all A/R team members for questions regarding billing policies, state guidelines, reimbursement analysis
• Serves as one of the primary points of contact for assigned clients and promptly responds to all client inquiries

Manager, Accounts Receivable – Healthcare Revenue Cycle

• Own the full accounts receivable lifecycle, including billing oversight, invoicing accuracy, collections, cash application, and aging management
• Ensure invoices are generated accurately and on time in alignment with client contracts and pricing structures
• Monitor and actively manage A/R aging, driving reduction in past due balances and improving DSO
• Establish and enforce collections strategies, including escalation paths for high-risk or delinquent accounts
• Oversee credit management, write-offs, and dispute resolution in line with company policy
• Manage and develop the Billing & Collections Specialist, setting priorities, tracking performance, and ensuring quality execution
• Provide day-to-day guidance on billing workflows, collections outreach, and issue resolution
• Create accountability around billing timelines, follow-ups, and client communication standards
• Partner with Rev Ops, Client Success, and Onboarding to ensure accurate billing setup and smooth client transitions
• Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting to reconcile A/R, investigate variances, and support forecasting
• Act as the key liaison between Finance and client-facing teams on billing and payment issues
• Identify and implement improvements across billing, collections, and A/R reporting processes
• Strengthen internal controls related to invoicing, collections, and cash handling
• Drive automation and efficiency within systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.)
• Prepare and analyze A/R reporting, including aging reports, collections metrics, and cash flow insights
• Support month-end close by reconciling A/R balances and investigating variances
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and supporting schedules

Accounts Receivable Manager

• Responsible for researching negative account balances within the electronic practice management system
• Determines the appropriate resolution, including whether a refund is due to the patient or insurance carrier
• Ensures that negative balances are processed in accordance with departmental guidelines
