Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers at senior and mid-management levels; clearly articulate Elkay’s value proposition and maintain detailed opportunity plans.
Lead and develop a team of three Business Development Managers (BDMs) and external rep partners to drive demand generation and market share expansion.
Drive cross-functional strategy with Product, Marketing, and Operations to define and execute the residential sales strategy.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and economic indicators to inform strategic decisions.
Own the sales forecasting process for the residential segment; deliver annual unit and gross profit targets while optimizing product mix and margin performance.
Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent; champion a customer-first culture and deliver Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to internal teams.
Promote continuous improvement across sales processes and champion the successful adoption of CRM tools and platforms.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, pipeline health, and sales outcomes.
Spearhead Elkay’s builder and designer engagement strategy in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Rep organizations.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles
8+ years in a sales leadership role within showroom or builder segments
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to travel 45%
