💰 $170,625 - $243,750 per year
About the role
- Hire and develop the sales engineering team
- Refine sales engineering processes such as discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept
- Develop solution and customer proposals and deliver product and solution demonstrations
- Provide advice and support in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and present recommendations and associated benefits to clients
- Collaborate with a variety of teams to ensure solutions are implemented and supported following client expectations
- Report to the Sales Engineering Director; occasional travel to customer sites and internal events may be required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or systems engineering
- At least 5 years managing and directing a sales engineering team
- Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies
- Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites and internal events
- Preferred: Participate in regional industry events and act as subject matter expert
- Preferred: Project management skills
