Manage and develop an assigned sales territory to achieve sales targets, order volume, and profitability goals
Maintain and build strong business relationships with key customers using knowledge of Greenheck’s products, applications, and CAPS software
Listen to and understand customer needs, challenges, and opportunities to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions
Sell, promote and market Greenheck products according to customer requirements
Develop and manage a sales plan to increase sales effectiveness within the assigned territory
Provide product quotes in CAPS to customer Engineering and Purchasing teams
Maintain regular contact with customers including updates on new products, resolving issues, and providing potential solutions and design changes
Work directly with Business Unit team members regarding product questions and Special Design Requests (SDR’s)
Work with inside sales to clarify quantity and order status information
Proactively seek out purchasing decision makers and develop business relationships
Present product and service capabilities, promote facility visits, and attend trade shows and industry functions
Travel within the assigned Las Vegas/Phoenix territory as needed
Perform Voice of Customer activities and provide feedback regarding territory potential and financial goals
Act as mentor for Account Managers and support Sr. Account Manager efforts; assist in contract negotiations and provide technical/application assistance to consultants
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience preferred
Professional background in either mechanical engineering or outside sales desired
Solid working knowledge of Greenheck’s products, applications, and CAPS software
AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software experience desired
Excellent communication and presentation skills (orally and written) required
Analytical ability required
HVAC experience desired
Must be willing to work with a high degree of autonomy
Travel is required more than 25% of time
