About the role
- Be the ultimate decision-maker on the approach to Zeno Health & Wellness, Americas pitches and manage potential conflicts of interest with new client opportunities in collaboration with other leaders.
- Encourage an environment that champions creative and commercial excellence in client work.
- Generate and respond to incoming opportunities, lead and attend pitches, ensure an optimal process for lead generation and pitch development, drive practice leads, marketing and thought leadership to nurture an effective pipeline, network internally and externally to create opportunities.
- Maintain financial responsibility for accounts including forecasting, account profitability, and staff utilization.
- Identify, attract, manage and inspire top talent. Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to staff to help them reach their full potential.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages creativity, growth, and professional development.
- Manage relationships with industry contacts, influencers and media, be a thought leader and raise Zeno Health’s profile in the industry, ensure that marketing investment is aligned to business needs and yields returns.
- Take a hands-on, progressive approach to counselling clients, manage relationship issues with clients where appropriate, introduce them to new Zeno offerings and IP, identify and pursue organic growth opportunities
Requirements
- 20+ years of proven and practical public relations and integrated communications experience in healthcare.
- Proven track record of pitching and winning $1M+ accounts.
- Accomplished networker with strong industry contacts and readiness to represent Zeno at events, advancing the reputation of the agency and the Health & Wellness Practice.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Adept at developing and delivering client presentations, including new business, that build relationships and drive revenue.
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to work across disciplines to secure and inspire clients.
- Results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
- Deep understanding of the Healthcare landscape, trends and key players.
- Expert ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs across all aspects of Healthcare Communications.
- History of success in providing sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility with senior level client contacts.
- Mastery of reputation management and a working knowledge of traditional and non-traditional media.
- Proven leadership experience, mentoring and developing other senior talent.
