About the role

  • Manage registration platforms using Cvent
  • Optimize attendee registration process, including the buildout and management of clean and consistent registration sites
  • Ensure compliance with data protection
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event attendee communication
  • Provide outstanding frontline customer service to event attendees
  • Manage housing bureau or hotel room block and attendee peripherals
  • Support event data analysis and reporting post-event
  • Partner with Cvent for deployment of OA 360
  • Coordinate with Event Operations for temporary staff sourcing, scheduling and onsite management
  • Coordinate with Marketing on design and launch of event app
  • Serve as point of contact for weekly pacing reports, e.g., registration and room block
  • Travel onsite to live events, estimate 8-10 times per year

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communication or related field
  • 4+ years relevant events experience in a client/customer facing role
  • Experience with CVENT or other event management software
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to successfully lead multiple concurrent projects, solve problems, and consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision (individually and on teams)
  • Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Superior attention to detail, the ability to create procedures, and a desire for accuracy in job performance
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
