💰 $95,000 - $105,000 per year
About the role
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for national external engagement and fundraising across World Relief’s 16 U.S. Field Offices
- Lead, mentor and grow a high-performance team to drive revenue results and external engagement
- Advance messaging, campaign, fundraising, and church engagement efforts across diverse offices
- Work with marketing to implement communications plans tailored to donors, churches, and community leaders
- Ensure consistent, mission-centric brand and alignment of messaging across digital and offline platforms
- Implement multi-channel fundraising strategies including major gifts, church-based campaigns, peer-to-peer, monthly giving, digital appeals, and events
- Identify, cultivate, and retain high-value donors and partners and grow recurring giving
- Collaborate with US Programs, Advocacy, and Advancement to align priorities and maximize contributions
- Strengthen and expand local church and community partner networks and leverage church leadership systems
- Create scalable community and church engagement models and maximize training, tools, and systems for localized outreach
- Oversee capacity building, training, coaching, and toolkit use for donor relations, communications, and partnerships
- Establish shared systems for tracking engagement, managing relationships, and reporting impact
- Optimize workflows, resources, and processes to drive efficiency and scale
- Launch national campaigns, resource-sharing platforms, and pilot creative engagement initiatives
- Supervise staff including monitoring daily work, approving time off, tracking performance, and HRIS entries; serve as a spiritual leader to staff
Requirements
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and related documents
- Bachelors or Associates degree with 10+ years progressive experience in a Communications, Marketing, or Development role
- Excellent phone, writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people from different backgrounds, cultures and views
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- A flexible working style
- Passion for welcoming refugees and guiding them on a path to belonging in local communities
- Lived experience or prior work in refugee services or international development
- Public speaking and thought leadership experience
