About the role
- Lead the development and execution of strategic industry and community partnerships and channel strategies to drive revenue across multiple lines of business
- Engage Senior Executives in strategic discussions and decisions related to establishing new partnerships and opportunities
- Develop relationships with employers and industry leaders to translate industry needs into relevant course offerings and trainings
- Lead a team of Outreach Specialists to contact B2B prospects and activate partnerships regionally and across industries
- Coordinate existing and new educational partnerships’ growth opportunities with partners and strategic organizations
- Plan, coordinate, and manage recruitment activities such as webinars, education fairs, trade shows, conferences, and networking events
- Standardize documentation, tracking, and ROI analysis of outreach efforts using CRM and scheduling software (Salesforce and Monday.com)
- Lead alignment efforts with Academics, Registrar, Enrollment, Student Services, Career Services, WCE PACE, and other departments
- Collect, analyze, create, and interpret reports and KPIs for senior leadership and participate in budget planning
- Set performance metrics, monitor progress, provide feedback, and lead performance management
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and ethical leadership
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance National University’s competitive position
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
- Supervise hiring, training, and development of 3-10 direct reports
- Travel frequently (up to 30%) as a representative of National University
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required)
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Experience in higher education strongly preferred
- Experience working in a dynamic, hybrid, technology-driven enterprise preferred
- Ability to hire, train, develop, evaluate, lead and direct staff; supervise 3-10 direct reports
- Advanced use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to build partnerships and engage senior executives
- Strong interpersonal, community relations, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, analyze data, and present reports
- Candidate must reside in Houston, TX and be located in the major metropolitan area of assigned region
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 30%)
