About the role
- Collaborate with management and business unit leaders to pursue major commercial opportunities
- Develop drafts of discussion documents, concept notes, proposals, and related materials to unlock new business
- Identify areas to expand and enhance client offerings and drive research on the global competitive environment
- Organize internal processes to track, evaluate, and push forward roughly 100 potential commercial opportunities and client relationships
- Improve processes, utilize CRM and project management tools, and regularly report opportunity status to senior leadership
- Work with data (Excel and other platforms) to support analysis, decision-making, and financial and revenue forecasting
- Work independently and collaboratively across teams, manage up, and engage positively with senior leaders
- Ensure exceptional service to largest clients across advisory and media businesses and manage/retain client accounts
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in client service, interacting confidently with clients in the service industry
- Business acumen, with a background in business or finance, establishing significant commercial relationships
- Interest in global affairs, politics, and experience working in global policy or politics
- Proficiency in fundamental job skills, including excellent writing, public speaking, and analytical abilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to collaborate with and support senior leaders and work diplomatically within a matrix organization
- Familiarity with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Monday.com)
- Experience working with data in Excel and other platforms for analysis and forecasting
