About the role
- Manage the Nikkiso Cryogenic Process Systems business in the Americas and achieve Functional Unit market objectives and financial targets
- Double market share in the region within 3-5 years (strategic growth objective)
- Obtain qualified leads and work with the Cryogenic Process Systems team to book jobs in the region
- Report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and oversee Business Development direct reports
- Promote and sell the full range of Functional Unit equipment and coordinate with other Functional Unit products
- Ensure full and detailed utilization of Salesforce (CRM) by all assigned users
- Nurture and strengthen customer relationships and loyalty across North and South America
- Report market information related to technology, economy, regulations, competition
- Conduct regular Business Review Meetings with the Functional Unit
- Provide local training and equip staff with necessary tools
- Support management of distributors, partners, and agents in the assigned territory
- Manage specific market segments and customers via Key Account Specialists
- Establish local structure, set goals and KPIs for sales per region/per product
- Plan routine visits to major customers and oversee team leadership, guidance, support, and motivation
- Proactively identify and follow up on customer problems to ensure product reliability and service support
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years in international business environment supporting cryogenic systems or products or related industry
- Proven track record in sales development and key account and territory management
- Combination of product knowledge and business knowledge of cryogenic process systems
- Fluency in English; Spanish and Portuguese preferred
