About the role

  • Manage the Nikkiso Cryogenic Process Systems business in the Americas and achieve Functional Unit market objectives and financial targets
  • Double market share in the region within 3-5 years (strategic growth objective)
  • Obtain qualified leads and work with the Cryogenic Process Systems team to book jobs in the region
  • Report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and oversee Business Development direct reports
  • Promote and sell the full range of Functional Unit equipment and coordinate with other Functional Unit products
  • Ensure full and detailed utilization of Salesforce (CRM) by all assigned users
  • Nurture and strengthen customer relationships and loyalty across North and South America
  • Report market information related to technology, economy, regulations, competition
  • Conduct regular Business Review Meetings with the Functional Unit
  • Provide local training and equip staff with necessary tools
  • Support management of distributors, partners, and agents in the assigned territory
  • Manage specific market segments and customers via Key Account Specialists
  • Establish local structure, set goals and KPIs for sales per region/per product
  • Plan routine visits to major customers and oversee team leadership, guidance, support, and motivation
  • Proactively identify and follow up on customer problems to ensure product reliability and service support

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years in international business environment supporting cryogenic systems or products or related industry
  • Proven track record in sales development and key account and territory management
  • Combination of product knowledge and business knowledge of cryogenic process systems
  • Fluency in English; Spanish and Portuguese preferred
